Creating my "Heartist" identity required a delicate balance between the raw emotion of traditional artistry and the exacting precision of digital design. The process began purely analog. Iterating across rigid guidelines, the graphite sketches explored the tension between angular, aggressive cuts and the sweeping elegance of formal script.
“Traditional Malayalam script is defined by its sweeping, circular anatomy. For this streetwear exploration, the objective was to shatter that expectation. By applying the aggressive, structured, and rapid-fire strokes of urban graffiti to a regional vernacular, the script is transformed from a traditional mode of communication into a bold, brutalist visual identity.”
